Board Member Alexandra McGregor
Alexandra McGregor is an Anishinabekwe from Kitigan Zibi near Maniwaki Quebec. She holds a B.Sc. from Carleton University in Biology and recently joined the CASTS Board of Directors. She has also served as CASTS Executive
Director from May 2007 until October 2009. Alexandra has enjoyed a career full of diverse experiences in her policy and research roles with the university of Ottawa, Health Canada, several years at the Assembly of First Nations, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Indian and Northern Affairs. Most recently she joined the Algonquin Anishinabeg Nation Tribal Council as a Human Resources Advisor but has also served as a health and social services consultant in her home community. Alexandra is the proud mother of two children: Courtenay and Samson Price. Alexandra would like to say "miigwetch", "merci" and "thanks" to all the CASTS supporters.
